Mechanical Engineering is an engineering discipline that was developed from the application of principles from physics and materials science. In this global world the Mechanical Engineer should have the knowledge not only in there, own specialized fields but also in wide interdisciplinary fields as well. To meet the above requirements this department offers the Bachelor of Engineering course in Mechanical Engineering as well as Master of Engineering in Design Engineering.

Mechanical Engineering Department was established in the year 1998 with an undergraduate programmed. From that, its development is touching the sky, the department is having its separate building in college campus. With this proficiency the department started the post graduate program in Design Engineering from 2011. This department has been long recognized for the high quality of its academic and research programs. The department is jeweled with the well experienced and highly qualified staff members. The student of the department also excels in the university and in the year 2008 our department holds all the three top ranks of the university. Also in the year 2011, the student of the department secured gold medal and so on. The department is well outfitted with the latest apparatus in laboratories.
