About Antarang

Antarang is the name given to the annual social gathering normally conducted in the month of February. Its blend of activities makes it a favorite amongst the students. The Gathering is a party event where students can showcase their talent in various other fields as well. The gathering is an opportunity for the students to come together and unwind from their busy academic schedules. Students eagerly await this social event that provides them an opportunity to showcase their organizational skills and other talents.

The gathering consists of various important activities like:

  • Sports
  • Cultural activity
  • Scientific and technical exhibition
  • Funfair
  • Rangoli competition
  • Different days like Saree day & Tie day, Mismatch day, Jeans & Cap day

Sports

Participation in sports makes them competitive enough to withstand the challenges. The faculty offers excellent opportunities and friendly counseling for overall development of personality through events among the youth. These facilities serve in keeping the youth from violence and instill in them a sense of confidence.

It’s a custom of college to show excellent performance in inter-collegiate sports tournaments of North Maharashtra University. As per the university calendar, the teams for various events are selected from all Branch of Engg.

This is the only college where every branch has its own team for boys and girls which plays inter-branch tournament right from the beginning of the session. The department has always been on its toes in exploring the untapped tal ent of our college and has given students the platform to exhibit their skills.

Following are the games and sports, college branch tournaments conducted throughout the year as per the calendar of the university.

Cultural Activity

Deviating from previous trend to organize cultural activities inside the campus, to promote awareneses and understanding of the Indian culture and traditions through meetings, workshops, performances of songs and dances and other cultural activities like Fashion Show, One Minute Show, Antakshari, Quiz Competition, that are beneficial to the students are.

The students participate in a large number of various co-curricular activities, to create a spirit of friendship and cooperation among them. This is the time when students enjoy most and many a hidden talents, other than academic, show up.
